The boys had fun playing in the Bee's Stadium in SL this week. Dakoda didn't get dirty so before they left he ran out and got grass stains on his pants to say that he got grass stains from the Bee's stadium. It wouldn't have been so bad had they not had a game the next day and guess who does that laundry at our house. Not him. It was so much fun though. My brother Kim, his wife Barb and their crazy son Brady came to watch the game. They were surprised by how good we were.

Still At It
Just FYI
If you get the sack of seeds wet, they will sprout. I had started all of my seeds and set these aside in the edge of the seed starter box and evidently they got wet. Every (and I mean every) seed sprouted in this sack. Quicker than the ones in the dirt if you can imagine. I found them some dirt to live in and they are growing very nicely in their new home.

A Word About the Cuppy Cake Song
I'm sorry that I am making you all listen to the cuppy cake song but I love it. It is my doorbell right now and I have to ring it every once in a while to give myself a smile. You can not smile when it is playing. By the way, it is on youtube with the original little 3 year old girl singing it if you want to see something cute. Search for cuppy cake song. Don't forget to smile!!! :)

Progress on our front deck
Skinny green stick.

I love the massiveness that it makes the posts have.
We have been trying figure out how to wrap these green treated 6X6 posts so that they look bulkier and prettier. Dean finally decided to just wrap them with 2X10's. I have to say that I love it. Definately better than the green. Once it is done I can cutify my deck up. Yes that is a word - cutify. I love having such a talented husband. He is wonderful.
Annual Easter Picnic
He just shot his eggs.
Here goes the eggs.
How many hotdogs can this boy eat?
They shot their eggs instead of rolling.
The big pistol packers.
My pistol packer.
The kids built their own trail for rolling easter eggs.
The Lindsay gang
Every year the Lindsays go on a big Easter picnic. It is pretty much mandatory unless you've just given birth. I mean just given birth... not a few weeks ago. LOL It was smaller this year but still just as fun. The men had their pistols and my boys had their 22s. They shot their eggs. Did you know they explode when you hit them? They do. It wasn't too cold and by the end the wind had stopped.
Easter Morning

This was Devin's poem for the poem contest in Altamont this year. He made the finals at the school and had to perform his poem at the Poetry Outloud Program. He did a wonderful job. I messed up the camera and did not get the first of the poem but I got enough that you get the jift. And I'm sure it is not meant for his loving brothers that never pick on him. LOL
