Camping for Memorial Day

This waterfall is simply amazing. It's not a long walk and it is well worth it. Yes we had to catch the snake in the water.

My family.

Dakoda being funny with a tall piece of grass. He says "how's your hay this year?" Looking down at the camp from lizard catching.
Yes that is a lizard on his shoulder
Official lizard holder. They wouldn't stay in Devin's pocket. I had to.
They didn't mind.
They just knew there was a lizard under this tree.
So Dakoda had to pick it up.
Devin trying to teach Dean how to jump on them.
Waiting and watching.
Got it.
Dang scorpions were everywhere. All the years we've been going here this is the first we've ever seen scorpions.
Devin with his share.
Devin was exhausted.
My very own pancake cooker. Loved it.
Why I camp!! Dean makes the BEST bacon ever!!!
And don't forget the S'Mores!!
So tiny but so much fun. They do bite
The boys are at the bottom of the cliffs. Can you see them?

This is zoomed in. Kinda fuzzy but they are there. All 3 of them.
The fun is just beginning.
Yes, that is a mouse stuck in the drain hole of the grill!!! It was so yucky. Dean had already saved me from a huge spider earlier. He's such a hero!!!
Dylan was starving. I don't know how he survived.
Mow first... Eat later...
These brothers have fun together.

We had one night to go camping this year and we took full advantage of it. We had so much fun. And can you believe I didn't do much cooking? Clean up yes but not much cooking. I love that part. The boys caught lizards and scorpions the whole time. I'm sure Dylan's science teacher appreciates our donations to her classroom. But there is no way I am letting scorpions live at my house.

New member of the family

The entire gang of Ryan and Michelle's family. The Brother doing the sealing said he had never seen so many people at a sealing. Dean and I were lucky enough to be able to attend.
Our Nephew Ryan and his amazing new wife Michelle. Did I mention that she kicks butt at volleyball. My gorgeous husband.
They finally make it out of the Draper Temple.
My family.
Me and my man.
My handsome boys. They were such angels this day. The temple worker told them she had never seen such great boys.
I love these boys and these windows.
We had a wonderful day attending Ryan and Michelle's wedding. They were married in the Draper Temple on Friday, May 22, 2009. After the wedding there was a yummy dinner at the Homestead in Midway. Dean and I took our boys over and showed them the spot where Dean proposed to me. They thought that was so cool. We also went into the big hill next to the Homestead where that hot water comes out of the ground. That water stays 93 degrees year round. That sounds great come December. All in all we had a wonderful day.
