Bruce Jenner from the Kardashians???
This guy was at Old Faithful when we were there. Dakoda and I thought it was the dad off of the Kardashians. Bruce Jenner. He is not goodlooking at all... Possibly tooooo much plastic surgery gone bad. Seriously though, there he was with the younger Kardashian girl being all loud trying to get attention. Nobody was really giving him any attention so I wasn't ever sure if it was him or not. I had to do a little stalking to get a picture and not look too spastic doing it. I still swear it was him.

2009 First Day of School
A Successful Elk Hunt
My very own bow hunter. Every one should have one. And ONLY one.
This is a snow blizzard. YES a snow blizzard. I could not believe it so I took a picture of it. Dean was going hunting in this. It only lasted a few minutes so he still went. The kids and I fished at Moon Lake while Dean hiked his guts out. He didn't get one this day. Thank Goodness. Or he would have been packing it out alone.
The nice elk was the winner. Dean shot it Saturday morning on the very TOP of a mountain. If you've ever hiked or hunted with Dean, he likes to go where horses can't get to. So needless to say it was quite the hike to get back up to him. Dakoda and Dylan were at a YM party so it was just Devin and me to help. I hiked up the hill with an empty backpack on and brought down about 100 pounds of meat. Dean had about 150 pounds on his back and Devin packed the saw. Today is Monday and I'm still so sore. My buttcheeks do not feel like they are connected to my body.
Hunter Dean and his minny me. Devin said, "It's just so gross, but I can't stop looking." I had no problem not looking at the gross parts. My only amazement was how much damage an arrow could do from an elk running with a razor in his vitals.

My First Dilly Beans
Thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law Kristy Jones, Dean and Dakoda are DillyBean addicts. Okay so not addicts because they only get them once a year at Thanksgiving. My garden is producing tons of green beans and I was wondering what to do with them all. Dean was begging for me to do DillyBeans. Kristy was kind enough to give me the recipe and help the umpteen times I called her while making them. Dean was even pitching in because he LOVES these things. Devin is my official bean picker and I would have to say that he did a marvelous job.
We turned this....
into this! 15 pints of DillyBeans. Dean is worried that isn't enough to last him until Thanksgiving so hopefully my little garden will keep growing.

Vegas R&R
What a way to relax. Dean and I have not had a honeymoon vacation since our actually honeymoon 18 years ago. We had the wedding in Vegas and also our anniversary this month to celebrate. So off we went. We were in Vegas for three days without kids. On the drive there I kept looking in the back seat to see why it was so quiet. Normally, quiet means trouble at our house. On the way home, I didn't look back once.
I love the water show at the Bellagio. We watched it a few times while we were there. It is so peaceful and it actually cools you off while you're walking.
This is where we stayed. This is New York New York in Vegas. We had so much fun here!!!! We stayed in the tallest on the right side on the 21st floor. I think it went up to 40 or so - so not the top but high enough. Dean never talked me into the roller coaster though. Maybe next time.
We went to Vegas for my neice Samantha's wedding. It was held at Ceasar's Palace. It was so beautiful. My only advice... Don't walk the strip in hooker heels. That were dang sexy but I had blisters on the soles of my feet. OUCH!!! And don't collect the trading cards they are handing out on the sidewalk. Unless you need ideas that is. JK
Me and my man.
Brady is a complete retard. If you want to laugh, hang out with him. He is not drinking and this was not even his glass. He just found it sitting there and decided to act drunk for the wedding. Very funny kid.
My beautiful mom, Carol, and here cutie husband, Joe.
I thought I was taller than Dean with these heels on. Guess he was right. I'm not.

Devin's Allergy Testing... oUCh
My poor little Devin (okay he's 10, but still my littlest) has really bad allergies. We've been switching back and forth from Claritin to Zyrtec for a few years now. This year we can't seem to win. I finally decided to take him in to a specialist to see what exactly he was allergic to and what we could do about it. They poked him with 48 different things, like grasses, mold, trees, animals, etc. He came back allergic to 36 of them. We go back in a week and they will start him on the drops. They mix up everything he is allergic to in very low doses and he puts one drop under his tongue once a day for a year and magically he won't be allergic to those things anymore. If this works right, next year no more pills every day. Oh I hope so for his sake.
Testing.
Immediately after testing.
After just a minute or two. The bottom ones that are really bad are grasses. We knew that.
The itching was driving him crazy. Luckily she put something on it afterwards to calm it down.
This is how we left the office. The big welts were there clear until he went to bed that night.
I knew the poor boy had allergies. I just had no idea he was allergic to EVERYTHING!!! (except feathers)

Yellowstone - Teton Tram
The ride
Looking down at the Teton Village.
Self-timer again. Love it.
Always waiting in a line..JPG)
Yellowstone - The Park
Trouble through and through. But I love them.
Nice tame elk. Where are they during hunting season when I'm trying to look through a scope???
I love this picture. It might have to be my Christmas Card this year.
Stampede AAAHH.
Here are my brothers from Germany. If you've been around me lately.. I claim to be a black German. Let me explain... Have you ever seen a white "Jones" on Oprah? My point exactly, I've got to be black. And I'm pretty sure Yawna has a German ring to it. So that's me.
These boys were from the Germany University conducting studies on the water. Like that hasn't been done a million times. But I still thought it was cool. (Other than the buttcrack poking out). Sorry about that.
Mother Nature is a beautiful artist

A little Harry Potterish. This lodge is so cool. You can only go up three stories. The last earthquake twisted some of the timbers making it unsafe to go up any further.
I love self timers. My family.... not so much.
Old Faithful
I made them hike forever and then we were on the wrong side of the thing to look at it.
Don't touch the water. That is what the sign said. So what do we have to do??? Of course touch all of the water. Thank goodness we have our fingers still.
Buffalo make the most hideous sound. I thought they would sound like a cow but they don't. Unless the cow is dying a drastic death. I was so excited to finally see buffalo.
Yellowstone - Grizzly and Wolf Center
This was Sam the Bear. He was huge!!! They hide meat under the rocks before the bears come out so they will look for it. Same was throwing boulders around like nothing. When he came out he was drooling and looked very scary.
Video of Dylan the Bear... He was chosen to be the bear in a pepper spray demonstration. He wasn't a very mean bear and way too cute.
