New babies arriving

I know I know it's only a baby chick.  BUT I'm so excited about it.  I bought these chicks last year and have raised them all year.  Now they are having babies of their own.  It's just so fun to see.  The chicken is pretty irritated with me but I have to show everyone this chick.  Amazingly, not one of my boys is as excited as me when I show them.  Dean will be home from work in a bit and I think he knows me well enough to at least act excited for me.

My beautiful niece - the Senior

Jazmine is a mighty Senior this year.  Ryan is getting old!!!  lol  This girl is soooo talented.  She makes it to National Finals in rodeo every year.  She plays volleyball and is a cheerleader.  And is always beautiful and smiling.  I just love her to pieces.  I'm pretty sure if I would have had a girl she would have been as awesome as Jazzy.

Guess who is getting his first degree in May?

Dakoda will receive his Associate of Science and Electrical Pre-engineering on May 3rd from USU Eastern in Price.  If you can't tell by the picture, he is having just a little bit of fun at college.  Price has an amazing college!  Not so big that you get lost but big enough to be fun and away from home.  Dakoda is planning on attending one more year in Price and then he will transfer to Logan to finish up what Price doesn't have.

What??? The season is over???

I still can't believe the basketball season has came and went so fast.  These boys and coaches give so much time to basketball.  Dylan is a big Junior this year.  Well all of the varsity team are Juniors.  People have cussed that we aren't winning everyone but guess what.  We have 5 Juniors playing against 5 Seniors most of the time.  I think Tabby was the only exception and they still had Seniors just not a whole team of them.  So of course the drama in Altamont continues.  They want to fire coaches and replace them.  I just don't get it I guess.  The boys love these coaches and so do all of the varsity parents.  The younger kids not playing varsity (of course their parents think they should) want them gone.  Leave our team the freak alone.  Okay done ranting.  I can't put this crap on facebook because I live by half of the criers so just skip over it.

Dylan rocks the court.  Everyone that sees him play says he plays like my dad, Kim or Ryan.  It depends on which generation is watching him.  I just giggle because I think he plays like his dad, Dean.  All of the many many hours of Dean playing outside or in the garage with him have paid off.  He rules the court.

Let's go Longhorns

Let's not forget this kid.  I have to say that he improved 300% from the beginning of his Jr. High year to the end.  He is a hustler.  By the final games we were even getting him to shoot the ball.  He has a beautiful shot and can swish the 3s.  Now that the year is over my emotions start getting the best of me.  Next year Devin will be a Freshman.  Do you hear me? A Freshman.  He is my baby not a Freshman.  Dylan will be a Senior.  NOOOOO!  I'm sure next year no one will want to sit by me and my emotional self.

Hard at Work

This is the after school ritual for these two.  Devin comes in, plops on the couch and Spud climbs up for his snuggle.  He will lay there and cuddle until Devin pushes him off.  It saves Devin from a lot of work too.  He always says "I can't. Spud is holding me down." Can't argue with that can I?
