Baseball - Devin
Baseball - Dylan
Dylan has started off on another fun filled year of baseball. I don't know what it is about this team, but they are so fun to watch. Maybe it's because they win. But more importantly they play well together. They have been a Team since they were tiny. I really worried that they would struggle this year. It is their first year in pony league, but so far they have ROCKED. Dylan has been playing catch, shortstop and 2nd base.

Mother's Day Picnic
I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Devin woke me up with his special surprise. I wish you could read it a little better because it is what he thinks.

The first thing they find is this water bubbling up out of the ground and they were determined to see how deep it really was.

Don't forget to pause the music before you play the video so you can get the full affect.
This was so much easier than in the olden day without computers.

Working at Dad and Dixie's
Poor Devin had to help at Grandpa's house on his birthday. We had quite a crew on the roof. (Me, Dean, Dakoda, Dylan, Devin, Kim, Barb, Brady, Ryan, Billy and Todd). It took us from 9 to 5 to completely shingle their house. Dad has been wanting to have a hot dog roast so for lunch guess what we had??? You got it, hot dogs and hamburgers. And of course, birthday cake.

Happy 10th Birthday Devin
The year that Devin was born May 9th just happened to fall on Mother's Day. That was the best gift ever. He had soooo much hair and it was the most amazing color. A few of the older ladies told me it was the color of mink. I have lately seen a real mink coat and his hair was the color of a mink. Not really blonde, but not brown. Just a pretty golden, greyish, brownish color. He was so perfect and still is in my opinion.
I could never really get enough of this beautiful little baby boy. He was such a good baby. If he was fussy then something was wrong. Dylan liked to take care of him when he was a baby. Maybe that is why he is so tough now. Devin was the type of baby that would disappear and you would find him emptying out a drawer or a bad. He just entertained himself. He still does. He will play in his room all day. His imagination is amazing.
Our first trip to California was when Devin was three. He loved the ocean but didn't want to touch it. That's okay, neither did his dad. He LOVED Disneyland, especially Woody and Buzz Lightyear. The only ride that he was too little to ride was the Indiana Jones ride. He rode that last year when we went, so now he can say he has done it all.
So dang cute. He had his first buzz cut at about 3 weeks old. There was way too much hair for a boy. His big blue eyes were always happy.
Hunting like a big guy. This really just goes to show you what an awesome dad Dean has always been. His boys are always with him and he never gets impatient with them.
Devin loves picnics. I think his favorite now is Chili Cheese Dogs on the mountains. Although Devin has never been a very picky eater. He LOVES food. He use to sit and look through the Schwan catalog just like a toy catalog and pick out what he wanted. Baby corndogs were his favorite then.

Devin has always loved sports and rough housing. He plays football, basketball and baseball. He has tried wrestling but didn't want to hurt the other kids. Devin and Dylan are always wrestling - more like UFC wrestling than the other kind. Devin has tons of friends and usually has one over. He is just an amazing little guy. I know he is 10 and that's not really little but compared to the others (Dylan and Dakoda) he will always be our little guy.
