This was the shock of the year!!! Dylan came home and told me that he checked himself out of PE and into band. Wow was I in shock until I got the reasoning behind it. That "silly" PE teacher was giving tests every Friday. (the nerve :) and all he had to do in band is pound on these great big drums. I can't remember what he called them, but they did have a name. At the concert I was almost shocked. I've never really heard a Junior High band play a song that sounded good and these kids did. Dylan never missed a beat.
